CBM Chartered Professional Accountants LLP (“CBM”), is a full service professional firm in good standing with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (“CPA Canada”) located at 152 Jackson Street East, Hamilton, Ontario where it provides services throughout the Golden Horseshoe area of Southern Ontario for over 40 years.
CBM was founded in 1976 providing a combination of assurance, taxation and advisory services for clients in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. CBM currently has 18 professional staff most of whom are fully designated with CPA Ontario; and 4 support staff. CBM’s team have been with the firm for a number of years allowing for an effective and efficient service.
We also provide support services where needed and as long as our independence is not threatened. This includes ancillary services such as filing of tax returns, business advisory and/or other support as needed.
Our main strength is our personal and practical touch to ensure a satisfactory and long-term service. We have access to the full set of accounting standards, income tax act, excise tax act and other materials to assist with any questions or concerns that need to be addressed.
CBM has provided similar compliance and attestation services for other organizations as you are aware. These engagements involved obtaining and inspection of supporting documentation to support the reporting objectives as prescribed by INTERAC and making recommendations, where appropriate, to aid with compliance.
Our approach at CBM is “it’s Business and it’s Personal”. We will endeavor to perform the engagement and establish a timeline to meet your needs as if your business was our own. In this endeavor, we believe that effective, timely communication is paramount to the engagement’s success.
We will assist in the preparation of the required White Label ABM Cash Owner Compliance Statement and any other documentation that is necessary to properly report to interested parties.
We will work with you regarding any identified deficiencies to determine if they can be rectified before the conclusion of the engagement.

On March 23, Premier Doug Ford announced that only “essential” businesses were to remain open for a two-week period starting March 24 at 11:59pm. The full list of “essential” businesses released by the Province can be found here. We are happy to say that our services meet the classification of “essential”, and therefore we are maintaining our operations in a fashion consistent with the above.
